Reimagining pediatric monitoring from the bedside outward.

Kulson Medical Technologies is exploring more thoughtful ways to support continuous monitoring—designed around children, the people who care for them, and the environments where care happens.

Monitoring should support childhood—not interrupt it.

Traditional wired monitoring can introduce tangles, disconnections, false alarms, and repeated interruptions for children, families, and clinical teams.

We are exploring clinician-informed, wireless and wearable approaches that may reduce those burdens while preserving the vigilance that pediatric care demands.

Created by someone who knows the bedside.

Kulson Medical Technologies was founded by Tawni Russo, RN, a pediatric neurotrauma nurse with nearly three decades of experience caring for children and working alongside their families and clinical teams.

Her work begins with a simple question: what could pediatric monitoring become if it were designed around the real needs of children and nurses from the very beginning?

“The most meaningful innovations often begin with a problem witnessed closely, repeatedly, and with care.”

Clinical insight. Thoughtful development. Meaningful impact.

01

Children first

Exploring monitoring experiences that respect comfort, rest, movement, and the realities of pediatric care.

02

Built from the bedside

Starting with the workflow challenges clinicians encounter every day—not with technology for technology’s sake.

03

Designed for translation

Pairing clinical insight with rigorous engineering, human-factors, regulatory, and validation pathways.

Building the foundation carefully.

Kulson Medical Technologies is in early-stage concept development, evidence review, and feasibility planning. We are building toward a disciplined development process grounded in clinical need, human factors, engineering, regulatory strategy, and validation.
